• Plaid: Bank account balances, transaction history, and account metadata from financial institutions you connect

• Usage data and interaction patterns within the application
• Error and performance data via Sentry for service reliability

3. How We Use Your Information

• To provide and operate our services, including AI-powered financial analysis and conversational guidance
• To prepare and submit funding applications to lending partners on your behalf
• To generate financial context and operating insights from connected accounts
• To process payments and manage your subscription via Stripe
• To send operational notifications related to your account and applications
• To improve our services, including AI model performance

4. How We Share Your Information

We share your information only in the following circumstances:

• Lending partners: When you submit a funding application, your business and personal information is transmitted to our lending marketplace partner (LendFlow) to match you with loan offers. This includes business details, financial data, and personal information you provided during the application process.
• Payment processor: Stripe processes your payment information. We do not store credit card numbers or bank account details for billing purposes.
• Infrastructure providers: We use Amazon Web Services (AWS) to host our application and process data, including AI features powered by Anthropic's Claude models via Claude Platform on AWS. We use Supabase for authentication and data storage.
• Legal requirements: We may disclose information if required by law, subpoena, or legal process.

We do not sell your personal information to third parties. We do not share your data with advertisers.

5. Data from Plaid

When you connect a bank account through Plaid, we access your account balances and transaction history to provide financial analysis and enrich funding applications. Your use of Plaid is also subject to the Plaid End User Privacy Policy.

Bank access tokens are stored securely on our servers and are never exposed to your browser. You may disconnect your bank accounts at any time through the Bank Accounts page.

6. AI and Data Processing

Fido uses Anthropic's Claude models, accessed via Claude Platform on AWS, to analyze your business data and facilitate conversations. Anthropic processes your conversation content to generate responses and provide personalized business guidance. We do not use your data to train AI models.

7. Data Security

We implement appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your information, including:

• Encryption in transit (TLS/HTTPS) for all communications
• Row-level security on all database tables ensuring users can only access their own data
• Secure token storage for third-party service credentials
• Authentication via JWT tokens with verified sessions

8. Data Retention

We retain your data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide services. Chat history, financial data, and application records are retained to support ongoing business operations. You may request deletion of your account and associated data by contacting us.

9. Your Rights

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the right to:

• Disconnect third-party services (such as Plaid) at any time

Cookies & Tracking Technologies

We and our partners use cookies and similar technologies to understand site usage and measure advertising. These fall into categories you can control: analytics (e.g. Google Analytics) and advertising (e.g. Google Ads, Meta, LinkedIn, and X). Cookies strictly necessary to run the site are always active.
